Charlie Killam School

Charlie Killam School is holding a FUNDrive for the whole month of April to raise funds for a playground/outside structure wile also helping out the environment. So bring your used items from the community and Value Village will pay the school per pound. All items that you can drop off at the trailer placed on the parking lot at the school, and will be open for donations from 8:00 to 9:15am and 3-4:30pm on all school days.

All items you can drop of must be in good, clean, sell-able condition and no bigger than a microwave!

Acceptable items include:

Clothing
Bedding, towels
CDs, DVDs, and books
Shoes
Kitchen items
Toys and games

Kids Have Stress Too Workshop

Wednesdays April 18 & 25, 2018

Camrose Community Centre (RS 231) and Forum

This 3 part workshop is for parents/caregivers/administrators with children aged 2 to 9 years. Participants will leave the workshop with the resources and content to manage stress in their children. Larry Gibson Memorial Fun Run for Special Olympics Camrose

Special Olympics in Camrose is hosting its first Annual Larry Gibson Fun Run. There will be a complimentary BBQ sponsored by Re Max and coffee donated by Tim Hortons for all participants at the completion of the walk/run; which will be two laps around the wet loop of Mirror Lake.

Registration starts at 10am, and the Fun walk/run begins at 10:30am. For more information click here

Is it an Emergency? If you think you may need to go to the Emergency Room at St. Mary’s Hospital…but aren’t sure, you can call Healthlink Alberta at 1-866-408-LINK and they will help you decide. Another alternative to the ER is to visit the Walk-in clinic at 4825-51st, Camrose.

Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday from 2-8pm.
